Platform Users vs. Business Users

On SAP BTP, user accounts enable users to log on to the platform, access subaccounts, and use applications, but they fall into two distinct categories serving different purposes. Platform users are typically administrators, developers, or operators who interact with SAP BTP itself — for example, managing subaccounts or deploying applications — while business users are the end users who consume the applications and services running on the platform. Developers need to understand this distinction when configuring access, as members must be added to a subaccount to enable users to access its resources.
