Configuring REST Consumers in AEM REST Delivery Points

A REST Consumer in an AEM REST Delivery Point (RDP) defines the target HTTP endpoint to which SAP Advanced Event Mesh forwards events, allowing developers to connect event streams to external services such as SAP Build Process Automation. Developers configure the REST Consumer with the destination URL and credentials so that messages published to a queue are automatically delivered via HTTP POST to the configured service. This setup is used, for example, to trigger process automation workflows whenever specific business events occur in the event mesh.
