Identity Federation

Identity federation is the process of sharing identity information between two parties, enabling developers to set up trust between SAP BTP and external identity providers so that users can authenticate across systems without managing separate credentials for each. On SAP BTP, developers use it to configure trust and federation with identity providers, allowing business and platform users from a corporate identity provider to access BTP services. User attributes from the corporate identity provider can be mapped to the attributes expected by SAP BTP, ensuring that the correct authorizations are applied upon login.
