An SAP BTP service binding is a mechanism that links a provisioned service instance to an application or Kubernetes workload, making the service's credentials and connection details available for consumption. Developers use it to securely retrieve the configuration needed to connect their applications to SAP BTP services, such as connection URLs, client IDs, and secrets. In Kubernetes-based deployments, namespace-level mapping allows a Kubernetes namespace to be associated with an SAP Service Manager instance, enabling service bindings and their credentials to be managed at the namespace scope.
