ABAP Environment Service Instance

An ABAP Environment service instance is a provisioned SAP BTP ABAP environment system that developers create from the Service Marketplace in the SAP BTP cockpit. It serves as the foundational runtime for ABAP-based development on SAP BTP, and must be backed by sufficient quota before it can be created, as described in Increasing the Quota for the ABAP Environment. Developers manage the service instance through the SAP BTP cockpit, where they can also create service keys to enable connectivity from external tools such as SAP Business Application Studio.
